Organic Teas

Organic ingredients are important to many people - including The Tea Smith! When sourcing teas and ingredients from around the world, we take extra care to ensure we're using high-quality teas and we work directly with our sourcers and often directly with the producers themselves to ensure we know where each tea comes from and how it was made. This allows us to confidently offer you only the finest teas that are produced in safe, ethical conditions. 

It is important to note that many of the small growers that are producing unique, small-batch teas do not have the funding or infrastructure to procure USDA recognized organic certifications. Many producers use organic farming practices and the country of origin may have standards that meet or exceed the USDA organic standards, but the countries standards are not recognized as "equivalent". 

Here we offer a selection of USDA recognized organic teas. We encourage you to explore your favorite flavors and learn more about each tea, how it was produced, and the production standards of that country. Tea is not just a drink - it is the gateway to another culture!
