Lids don't lock down

The lid doesn't lock down, so if you place this in a larger cup, the infuser drops into the cup with all the tea spilling into your cup.

Best infuser on the market

I looked everywhere for an infuser with this much depth and Tea Smith seems to be the only ones who carry it. If you're trying to use an infuser with a teapot or a very tall mug this one is absolutely perfect. I bought the same one (from a different vendor) about 20 years ago and it basically lasted me until a couple months ago. The only reason I had to get another was that I lost my old (pretty well blackened!) one on vacation. I don't think people realize how much of a difference it makes when the tea really has room to move around inside the water. I give it my highest recommendation.

Great tea infuser

These work great. They are light, compact, inexpensive and getting the job done. It's so nice to be able to set the infuser in the lid after use. Looking forward to using them for travel. I have the medium size which sits nicely on all but one wider brimmed tea cup.
